CORONAVIRUS LATEST INFORMATION

Dear Guests of Byron,

In light of recent concerns surrounding the spread of coronavirus, we are sure you have seen that the Government has issued updated guidelines which we are responding to and adopting on a daily basis. We are in unprecedented times and we are doing our best to navigate this situation in the right way.

Further to the latest update from the UK Government on the tiered system to be introduced in England from 3rd December, we are pleased to confirm Byron at Woolacombe Bay will OPEN from 3rd December. The Byron complex is located in Woolacombe, North Devon, which is designated as a Tier 2 area. 

We are allowed to accommodate stays from 3rd December from guests (from one household/support bubble) who come from Tier 1 and Tier 2 areas. 

If you have pre-booked a visit to Byron and live in an area that is designated as Tier 3 you are advised by the Government not to travel. All guests who live in Tier 3 can defer their stay at Byron into 2021. 

Please note:

1. Our existing robot COVID safety measures will remain in place. Click here for more information.

2. At present the Byron leisure suite will remain closed until further notice and Guest Services will be open in a limited capacity to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and guests.

3.We anticipate that eateries, restaurants and shops in Woolacombe village will open from 3rd December, although you are advised to check with each establishment. Byron's onsite independent restaurant, Brundle's Bar and Restaurant, will be announcing its new operating times in the next few days. 

 

Deferrals / Rebooking

If you have booked a visit to Byron and live in an area that is designated as Tier 3 and can no longer travel to Bryon, you can defer your stay into 2021. Please contact us on info@bwhlholidays.co.uk or 01271 871643 to discuss how we can help move your booking.

We can defer all bookings up to 7 days before the stay free of charge.* 

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is always our priority and we will continue to monitor the situation closely, taking all necessary precautions. 
 
If you are joining us at Byron from 3rd December onwards all the details for your holiday will be sent to you in a welcome email a week before your arrival, which will include information we want to share with you on the measures and protocols we have put in place and to update you on other news to help you make the most of your holiday.
