CORONAVIRUS LATEST INFORMATION

Dear Guests of Byron,

In light of recent concerns surrounding the spread of coronavirus, we are sure you have seen that the Government has issued updated guidelines which we are responding to and adopting on a daily basis. We are in unprecedented times and we are doing our best to navigate this situation in the right way.

Our focus remains the well-being of our guests, staff and suppliers and we have now taken the difficult decision to close Byron from 22/03/2020 until 01/07/2020 at the earliest.

 

We are currently taking bookings for July onwards, however, should we be in the same position with travel restrictions we would be able to refund the stay. If you also are in a situation where you personally would like to defer dates to later in the year or 2021 we are also happy to do this.

 

The restaurant has opened for takeaway service from 29/5/2020 for evening meals, our goal is working with Brundle's with the idea that Byron guests can use the service for all meal times if needed as we move further into the summer.

 

We will be in touch directly with all guests whose stays are affected in this period of closure and discuss the options available. For those whose holiday dates are not currently affected but would like to discuss their options, as always you can get in touch directly via email info@bwhlholidays.co.uk and we will look to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation and will update our guests, website and social channels as and when necessary.

 

If you have an outstanding balance for your stay, you will notice we have not yet been in touch to collect this payment. This has been done as a courtesy and payment will only be requested when your stay is confirmed.


Social distancing guidelines from the government and Woolacombe TIC will be shared here.  If you book a date and cannot travel due to government restrictions we will be able to provide you with details of deferrals and refunds. 


Thank you for your understanding at this difficult time for everyone. We have every hope that this situation will be resolved quickly, and are implementing these measures in line with the Government’s advice. Please do take care of yourselves, your families and the wider community and we look forward to welcoming you all to Byron in the near future.
